Nice post from Brian Bennett at ESPN.com’s B1G blog on the B1G 2016 and 2017 schedules when we switch from eight to nine conference games each year. Check it out here.

For a more Spartan perspective on the the schedules, read Chris Vannini’s article for The Only Colors, an excellent MSU Football blog. Check it out here.

2017

2016 seems more manageable than 2017, but that’s based on teams today.
Things I like: No Iowa in 2016 and no Nebraska in 2016 or 2017. Even better: MSU plays UofM at Spartan Stadium in 2013, 2014 and 2016 before returning to the standard alternating pattern..
Things I don’t like: No Wisconsin in 2017 (Spartans-Badgers has really turned in to a very good rivalry and some of the best B1G football to watch).
On a side note, we’re are under 50 days before college football action kicks off. Seems like it was 100 days out just a short wile ago. It’s still hot and muggy here in NC so it feels like football is a ways off but I am ready for it right now! Spartans report for practice August 3rd and first practice is August 4th. Yes!!!
Go Green!
